The medical staff are integral members of the Hazelden multi-specialty and multi-disciplinary care team.

Through medical assessment, implementation of treatment interventions and education, medical staff work with patients to guide them through the initial stages of their recovery and return to full function. They collaborate closely with our physicians to provide excellence in care.

Our medical staff strive to define and utilize Best Practices to provide care for our patients, many of whom face the challenges of co-occurring issues with mental health, pain and addiction.

The medical staff are working with you and the care team at many points in your treatment, whether you are experiencing acute withdrawal and require in-office medical detoxification, the the medical staff is talking to you on the phone to assess your individual health care needs, or working with the physicians and counselors to coordinate your path of treatment.
